winner! winner winner winner!
this is the first NCAA bracket I've ever won, and I'm stoked beyond belief.
mikey, lyn and I met up to watch the UNC/MSU matchup. I had the highest possible points pretty much after the second round, but by some mysterious convergence of offworld forces and pacific islander voodoo, mikey would have won if MSU beat UNC to get into the final.
we made a friendly little side bet. we've been trying to set up a double date for quite a while now, so we bet that whomever lost the game (me for UNC, mikey for MSU) would buy Chipotle for 4 some night soon. And I won!
I'm gettin extra guacamole y'all.
Mikey's a fun guy. this is the first time that we've really hung out together, and it's always good to hang out with someone that has a similar scatalogical sense of humor. A couple of my favorite moments:
"you know when you're taking one of those huge shits that takes more than one breath?" - mikey
z: "yeah, they'd have to pay me 'new car money' to get me to show my face on Cheaters."
m: "they wouldn't pay you that much."
z: "they would if I screwed up reeeeeeeeeeallllllly badly..."
m: "we could do it at a 'fast casual' restaurant"
z: "PBX?"
m: "yeah, we cozy up by the fireplace and try different dipping sauces."
games/betting update
Fantasy Sports: zach 1, mikey 0 (dinner for four at Chipotle)
Pool: mikey 1, zach 0 (no bet...silly mikey.)
Ping Pong: zach 1, mikey 0 (first beer at the next gathering)
mikey's a much better ping pong player than I am...but he goes for the "I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" shots too often, I just try to get it to land on the table.
