rock rock rock rock rock n' roll high school

You ever find those random emails in your junk folder that are actually worth reading? Got one today entitled "High School Reunion" and decided to click on it for no good reason.

Hola Amigos!!!
High School Reunion is now available everywhere!

Frank Black, Matthew Sweet, Kristin Hersh (Throwing Muses, 50 Foot Wave), John P. Strohm (The Blake Babies, The Lemonheads), The Caulfield Sisters, and Dresden Dolls are just several of the great indie-rockers covering tracks from some of the 80s most popular teen films!

High School Reunion has been receiving glowing reviews and charting as high as #1 on college & indie radio worldwide. This is the CD of the year - maybe the DECADE!!! Okay, that's a bit over-the-top, but High School Reunion is a really fun CD and, in our humble opinions, a must have for any music lover and/or film buff.

EDIT:

Okay, it's got clips from it on the site. Most of the songs are crap. That's really disappointing.

Worthy tracks:
American Girl - Matthew Sweet
In Your Eyes - Lori McKenna
If You Were Here - Kitty Hawk
Moving In Stereo - The Commons
Pretty In Pink - The Dresden Dolls
Wave Of Mutilation - Kristin Hersh
Danke Schoen - The Wading Girl
Repo Man - Frank Black
I Go Crazy - PC Munoz

It's pretty funny that someone covers Wave of Mutilation, and Frank Black is a contributor. Also...Danke Shoen? Haha...great 80's song.
