two monitors = twice the production
just got a new monitor and video card at work so I'm running dual monitors now. It's something that I always figured would be handy for software that would use pallete windows like photoshop, illustrator etc. but never realized how handy it would be for coding html...especially now that I'm using dreamweaver MX...window pallettes.
the most handy thing of all...having Outlook in one monitor and whatever my active work is in the other...when I get that little "ding" that notifies me of a new email, instead of alt-tab to get there I just turn my head! BRILLIANT!
I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to use just one monitor at home. Looks like that's the next purchase.
One of the strange things that happens though, when I open a really large porn picture it spans between the two monitors. Brings a new definition of "gutter trash."
Not that I look at porn at work...or at home...or...oh who am I kidding. Me likey the boobies.
